May 7 – late posting
Things are pretty hectic here, the Baby Shower / Godh Bharai / Seemanthana Function Arrangements are goin on.
This time I have got all the works done by my Bro, the checklist, negotiation, advance payments, confirmation letters etc., I thought he has just finished school and getting into college, so it;s the right time for him to begin the learning process of the world outside.
The Backdrop Decoration was done by Ms. Vasantha Srinath, The Beds, few tables, Air Coolers were arranged by Mr. Sathyanarayana. These are the only two of them who are allowed to do any sort of Decoration there in Ganjam Mantappa.
We went various quotes of Photographers and Videographers and finally came down to my College Class Mate Suraj of Fhoto Flash. ( Where there is not much difference in price & Quality, it’s better to go with the person whom you know )
The Invitations were printed, One in Hindi and One in English and then I also had my personal Invitation Card ( an anonymous reader of this blog gave me the design 
) but pity I could not invite most of my friends
We also had to print some fancy envelopes with our Family Name – I believe they will give cash in those to all the visitors. Earlier people use to gift something, but nowadays this is the new trend – I still prefer gifting something rather than giving cash.
Extra vehicles had to be arranged to collect the guest from Railway Station and some Security guards called in to organize the parking of Guest’s Cars.
And some refreshments in the room for the Guest like Soap, Shampoo, Biscuits, Comb, etc.,
And no to forget the arrangement for Breakfast & Dinner for Family and Pretty Grand Lunch for all the Guest. Since the Hall was available on that particular day – it was a hectic schedule for the Caterer too – Mr. Omji
Everything seems to be in place, invitation distribution is going on, we went short of invites and got some new ones printed, I guess the total No of Guest for this function will cross 400- 450 – on a working day
