3rd Ante-Natal Classes – Follow up

This was our 3rd Ante-Natal Class and first one for me. The Auditorium was pretty neat with nice Comfortable chairs and a lil extra Ac for Comfort ( man it was chill out there). The ever smiling Aparna was outside the Auditorium greeting each one of us and I think to also make sure that only the TLC Package holders are allowed inside :p

This session of Ante-Natal Class was from Reliance – Relicord, it was pretty good but still there were lot of doubts ( lot lot and lot ) when it came to Cord Blood Stem Cell Banking, especially when you add Cord Banking along with Cord Blood..
So decided to get more info with the concern person, did contact him and told him that will send him a mail. Meanwhile I will also try to bring out the Comparison among the major players in this field like Lifecell, Relicord and few others.

Until then will update on you the next Ante-Natal Class, waiting for the mail from Aparna from Wockhardt.

Dental Pain Getting Severe

Vanitha had Painful Gums and this was  bound to happen ( Click Here -  Pregnancy & Dental Pain ), but this got worse last night, and infact she is unable to speak as there is a severe swelling in her gums.

Unable to even sleep and unable to speak she mostly communicated in sign language. I had told her that we will visit the Doc two days ago, but then she was of the opinion that this will come down gradually and now the situation is pretty serious.

She referred our friend (Ashwini ) and took the nos of one Dentist in Jayanagar 4th Block. We visited him, he said – there was lot of puss formation and a tooth somewhere down was growing horizontally and there is gap in between and that is causing infection, etc etc.

In Short the tooth had to be removed and had suggested an X-ray. I for some reason very precisely remember that X-rays are a big NO NO when it comes to Pregnancy ( Do’s & Don’ts ). He also concluded by saying that this is the right time to remove the tooth as the same cannot be done in 8th or 9th Month.  I insisted that we would talk to our Gynecologist and then revert back to him in couple of days.

He gave us some tablets ( both 500 mg ) and told to have twice a day for 5 days, we bought it for just today and decided will continue as per our Gynecologist advice.

N Still not given her any Valentines Day Gift, I’m Running out of Ideas and running short on time
