Vanitha Back to her Hometown

Dec 21

Since Doc told that yest “By staying there if she could have proper food, avoid excess work, avoid nausea and be with some family members then it’s a good idea”, we decided to board the first train in the morning. The train was at 6AM and we were suppose to leave our home by 5:15 to reach there on time.

Woke up at 4:30 AM, Had nice Hot Bath and came down to the car and all I could see ( or not see ) was Fog, everywhere, visibility was very poor and I realised that at this rate and driving slow we may not make it.

We left the home as planned at 5:15, reached railway station and parked the car there for a day ( I had planned to return back next morning ) and parking for a Day costed Rs. 240/-, anyways left with no option we parked and hurried slowly – was like running in slow motion as they do in Bollywood movies – towards the train, we boarded the train 5 min before it left the station.

She had carried Bread butter, some biscuits, she had that first and later had couple of idlis at Tumkur Station and after a 3Hr journey we reached Berur and she had some idlis there too.

From there we left by road to her hometown, once reached everyone welcomed us with smile and Vanitha had brought lot of happiness to them. Everybody forced me to stay for a day or two, I left the same night via an AC Bus ( Sunday night transports leaving from Chickmangalore is always full )

On way back I was feeling lonely since I will be living all alone for quite some time now, but still I felt happy  coz now I knew she would be in safe hands and all her needs during the First Trimester would will be well taken care.
